How J A G S began…. Jim worked for 20 years at Goertz Equipment with his parents. Eventually his parents closed the doors and retired. At that point Jim didn’t really know what to do except go to a few interviews, but nothing really struck him as something of a career choice. It was then that Jim and Stephanie made the decision to open J A G S Repairz at the old Goertz Equipment location on Lakeshore Road in Niagara on the Lake. The news spread to the locals that Jim was ‘back in town for business’. Along with the guidance of Niagara College Small Business and our dedicated customers, we are celebrating being open for over 11 years! Jim and Stephanie give their customers their upmost attention and are dedicated to providing the best of customer service. After first opening, J A G S was strictly repairs but today has evolved into a full lawn and garden retail establishment. Brand names such as Echo, Shindaiwa, eXmark, Snapper, Kohler, Briggs and Stratton are available to our customers. J A G S supplies parts for all makes and models of units including John Deere and Polaris as well as repairing all makes and models of lawn and garden equipment. Jim continually stays up to date with equipment. And by doing so he has the state-of-the-art Dynamometer. The Dyno is set up to test ATV’s, motorcycles and even Sprint Cars.
