RIDER Productivity

ADDED REVENUE

Customers have told us that our machines increased their productivity by as much as 20% or more while delivering our trademark “see-it-to-believe-it” quality of cut. If you could increase your speed by just one mile per hour (say from 5 to 6) using one of our mowers, here’s how this increase would impact your bottom line.

KNOW THIS

As a landscape professional, the investment you make in purchasing original equipment doesn’t affect bottom-line profitability nearly as much as other operational factors. As this chart* indicates, these other factors can have a far greater impact on your bottom-line profitability.

75% of a landscape professional’s mowing costs are comprised of labor, downtime and maintenance.

Two productivity ratings are shown: one at 100% and one at 80% efficiency. Many manufacturers use 100% efficiency ratings for sales purposes. Exmark® believes an 80% efficiency rating is more representative of actual mowing conditions as it allows for turns and overlapping.

Formulas for calculating acres per hour:
100% efficiency: MPH x width of cut ÷ 99 = acres per hour
80% efficiency: MPH x width of cut ÷ 124 = acres per hour
